I have been taking Japanese lessons with Rina for 2 years now and I've been really enjoying it so far. Since starting lessons with her I have noticed really large improvements in my language skills, and most of that is due to Rina's teaching style. She is very accommodating to my schedule as I work full time and I've found that she has a very adaptable syllabus that can accommodate anybody's learning styles. She can focus on any particular area that a student is struggling in and has a strong amount of teaching experience, which shows through in her methodology.
She is a native speaker who teaches not just the 'correct' way to say things but also gives plenty of advice on what actually sounds natural in Japanese, and how Japanese people would actually say sentences, which often don't translate directly.I strongly recommend her as a teacher!

I really recommend doing Japanese lessons with Rina. I have been doing lessons with her for almost two years since I went to Japan for the first time. All lessons with Rina are adjusted to your learning requirements and specific interests, and she really cares about your progress. She can also assign homework, correct any sentences and provides insight into Japanese culture. Also, she is an incredibly nice person and very easy to get along with. I have been taking lessons with Rina for Japanese for around 2 and a half years now. It's due to Rina’s guidance that I have been able to come this far (preparing for JLPT N3). One of Rina’s best qualities is that she never slacks on correcting your mistakes quickly. This helps me not gain any bad habits while I'm still learning. She can also explain the complicated grammar I'm learning with her English skills really well. This is due to her being a native speaker in Japanese, yet knowing English to a proficient level. Not only does she help me with my JLPT test preparations, she also helps me with my high school work.
Now that I am skipping a year to go to SACE 1 Japanese, I can continue to accelerate my Japanese thanks to Rina. I believe Rina is very rounded in teaching all the aspects of the Japanese language to a fluent level within a short span of time compared to other teachers.
